NARM Therapy in Missoula, MT.
You’ve tried everything you can think of to feel better, but nothing’s sticking.
NARM offers a unique approach to healing by addressing the deeper patterns and unresolved emotions that keep you feeling stuck. Instead of focusing solely on the symptoms, we’ll work together to explore the roots of your challenges and build a sense of safety and connection within yourself. With NARM, you can break free from old patterns, cultivate self-compassion, and move toward lasting change.
But you’re still feeling…
Disconnected from yourself and the life you want to live.
Weighed down by shame, fear, or self-doubt.
Trapped in patterns that don’t serve you.
Like true change is just out of reach.
NARM therapy can help you process the lingering effects of unresolved trauma, reduce feelings of shame, and foster emotional resilience.
-
The NeuroAffective Relational Model® (NARM) is an advanced therapeutic approach designed to address the effects of developmental, relational, and attachment trauma. It focuses on exploring patterns of disconnection that may have formed during early life experiences, without requiring you to revisit specific traumatic events. NARM works by helping you integrate emotions, beliefs, and behaviors that may be holding you back, fostering a deeper sense of self-awareness and connection.
-
In NARM sessions, we’ll explore how your past experiences may be impacting your current feelings, behaviors, and relationships. You can expect a compassionate, non-judgmental space where we’ll work collaboratively to identify and shift patterns that no longer serve you. NARM emphasizes present-moment awareness, empowering you to reconnect with your strengths and move toward greater authenticity and emotional freedom.

By addressing the root causes of emotional and relational struggles, NARM supports deeper self-compassion, greater clarity, and improved relationships. It’s particularly effective for individuals seeking to break free from patterns of self-doubt, avoidance, or disconnection and develop a more fulfilling and meaningful life.
At the end of the day…
The spontaneous movement in all of us is toward connection and health. No matter how withdrawn and isolating we have become or how serious the trauma we have experienced, on the deepest level, just as a plant spontaneously moves towards the sun, there is an impulse moving toward connection in each of us.
This organismic impulse is the fuel of The NeuroAffective Relational Model.
Is NARM the right fit for you?
In NARM sessions, we’ll explore how your past experiences may be impacting your current feelings, behaviors, and relationships.
The NARM therapeutic model is designed to address the long-term impacts of Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) and Complex Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (C-PTSD), which includes such areas as attachment, developmental, relational, cultural, and intergenerational trauma. If any of these forms of trauma has impacted you, NARM therapy may be the right treatment option for you.
NARM therapy is not designed to address PTSD or what is referred to as shock trauma or one-time event trauma. NARM therapy is designed to address complex PTSD.
If you or your loved one has a severe mental health diagnosis such as a psychotic, dissociative, or addictive disorder, you will need to speak to a mental health provider to determine what treatment is right for you.
